Does Chrome OS Flex has a stable version?

You can switch to Stable channel. There is option for that just like chromebooks.

Stable channel is fully tested by the Chrome OS team and hence it is the best choice to avoid crashes and other problems.

But when it comes to Chrome OS Flex which is said to be in testing state and unstable so its stable channel might also be in testing state, I assume. For different computer models different issues occur so sometimes it can also work fine if you are in luck. 

But you can give it a try if you couldn't resist and see for yourself if it is really stable!

Connect to the internet. Open or Install Google Chrome browser. Install Google Docs Offline Chrome extension. ( Click Here to Open Install Page ) Open Google Drive Click on Settings Check the box next to "Create, open, and edit your recent Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides files on this device while offline. Done Now you can click on File menu of any Google Docs, Sheets and Slides file and click Make available offline to use that file offline.
